Princeton, NJ

Across from Princeton University, in the center of town, this proposed luxury town home development complex was designed over and around an existing garage to restore the continuity of an interrupted urban streetscape. It creates a new public domain of urban design quality defined by a series of new pedestrian courts and discrete linkages bounded by the residential structures.

Each town home is afforded front door identity facing on the streets and the newly created courts, while the interlocking sectional design of the unit allows for direct and private access to the existing garage which remains hidden by the residences. The master plan for the project, currently under construction, was commended on its approval by the regional planning board for “...putting Palmer Square on the level of Rittenhouse Square and Georgetown...”
